This option enables you to send messages to other staff in the campus as well as to the students to whom you are teaching.

Select the compose message link from the message icon on the top right.



  • 1. Selection of recipients 

     1. Sending messages to all facilitators of any department

     2. Sending messages to one staff or more than one staff

     3. Sending messages to all students of one cohort

      students who have login on admin portal

      OR

      all students who are enrolled in that cohort

     4. Sending messages to one or more students of any cohort



    • For sending messages to all the staff of any particular department, select the relevant department.

    • If you wish to send messages to some facilitators then you can select their names from the staff drop down menu. You can select multiple recipients.


    • For sending messages to the students, select program name and cohorts of the students. Click on Active Login checkbox to send message to students who have their logins on the admin portal. Or select enrolled students to send messages to all the enrolled students in that cohort. This option will send message to all students. How ever if you wish to send messages to few students then select their names from the text box below.



    2. Composition message

    • Enter subject-line of the message.

    • In the message body, write the message.

    • If you want to the message on their emails also apart from the message in the admin portal, select the send on email checkbox.

    • You can also attach relevant documents and files ( if any).

    • Then click to submit button.



    If the send email message box is checked then the full message goes on their email also. However if this check box is not selected then just a notification email goes that a new message has been posted on the admin portal
